Ethel N. Cogdill Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on December 18, 2025, at the age of 86, Ethel N. Cogdill of Ferguson, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ora Jones and Bessie Sharp Jones; her siblings, Charlie Jones, Sarah Hamblin, Naomi Brown and Rachel Paul; and her grandson Greg Jones.
She is survived by: her husband Billy Joe Cogdill; her children, Carl Wayne Cogdill (Shelia) of Nancy, Randy Glenn Cogdill (Terri) of Somerset, Jeffrey Alan Cogdill (Jennifer) of Somerset, Wilma Elizabeth Burdine of Bronston, Rena Kay Lafavers of Somerset, Norma Jean Trull (Troy) of Science Hill and Kathy Jo Barber (Sammi) of Somerset; and her siblings, L. B. Jones of Dayton, OH and Roberta King of Stearns. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and 4 great- great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Rheumatoid Arthritis Association and American Heart Association.
