She was predeceased by: her parents, Shelby Dave Daniel and Lola West Stewart; her husband Norman Mounce; her siblings, Lloyd Michael Daniel, Jessie Floyd Walters, James Cosby "Jim" Walters, Frankie Walters and Judy Walters; and her grandson Joseph "Joe" Allen Hughes.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Hughes (Tabatha), David Hughes (Holli), Danny Hughes, Emma Hughes and Barbie Ham; her siblings, Brenda Dee Edmond, William "Bill" Daniel (Brenda), Lonnie Daniel and Glenn Walters (Bobbie); her grandchildren, Dustin Hughes (Paige), Kasey Hughes (Patricia), Sabrina Holbrook (Corey), Beth Hughes, Jacob Rogers (Betty), Caleb Rogers (Mekeshia), Noah Rogers (Riley), Ashtyn Dalton, Gaje Hughes (Ashley) and Logan Ham; and her great grandchildren, Mickey Cornwell, Korbin Hughes, Samuel Hughes, Cayson Holbrook, Jonah Holbrook, Bradley Rogers, Hudson Rogers and Katherine Rogers. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home (2110 KY-914, Somerset, KY 42503). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Markee Cancer Center.
