He was predeceased by : his parents, Henry Strange and Mabel Abner Strange; his son Steven Strange; his siblings, John Daniel Strange, Willie David Strange, Marvin Leon Strange, Billy Ray Strange, Mary Elizabeth Lane and Fanny Lavern Meadows; and his sister-in-law Mary Strange.

He is survived by : his wife Sherry Strange; his sons, Danny Strange of Powell County, Jesse Taylor (Kari) of Somerset, Eric Taylor of Somerset and Casey Taylor (Brittany) of Somerset; his sisters, Anna Faye Slemp (Stanley) of Mount Sterling, Phyllis Jane Holder of Somerset, Sylvia Clay Crouch (Johnny) of Richmond and Henrietta Mae Watkins (Maynard) of Winchester; his grandchildren, Matthew Strange, Kylee Strange, Trey Taylor, Graci Taylor, Addley Taylor, Bennett Taylor, Kenzington Taylor, Fallon Taylor, Kolton Taylor, Kannon Taylor, Kaylen Taylor, Keligh Taylor, Brantley Taylor, Laiken Taylor and Kayson Taylor; and his close friends, Jeff Smith and James Collins. He is also survived by friends, family, several nieces and nephews.
