She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas Hudson Evans and Elizabeth Salyers Evans; her husband Donald Ray Brown; her son Darryl Brown; her grandchildren, Brandy Kisinger, Timmy Brown and Anthony Yazell; and her siblings, Frankie Evans, Talmadge Evans, Johnny Evans, Kenny Evans and Pearl Lewis.

She is survived by : her children, Rick Brown (Ruby) of Firebrick, Luwana Bradley of Firebrick, Sam Brown of Firebrick and Shawna Sparks (Rick) of Firebrick; her siblings, Paul Evans of Minford, Bill Evans of Rubyville, Jim Evans of Columbus and Thelma Ruggles of Rubyville; and her grandchildren, Ray Brown, Rachel Bloomfield, Robbie Brown, Darryl Brown, Stephanie Davis, Amber Cooper, Julie Harr, Ray Bradley, Sunshine Lawson, Joey Brown, Sammy Brown, Kaitlin Lute, Eric, Ricky Sparks, Aaron Sparks and Jennifer Robinson. She is also survived by several great grandchildren, two great great-grandchildren.
