With sadness, we share the passing of Roger Dale Asher of Flat Lick, Kentucky. Roger, born on June 4, 1944, passed away on September 7, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Asher and Dessie Hoskins Asher; his daughter Sharon "Penny" Faye Asher Hobbs; and his siblings, Heddie Louis Babbs, Henry Jr., Ralph, Delbert, Gary, Leonard and Billy Asher.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Asher of Flat Lick; his children, Garrett Asher of Flat Lick and Susan Asher of Troy, OH; and his sister Pansy Reichard. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; a host of nieces and nephews; a host of great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of the Knox Funeral Home (325 Knox St, Barbourville, KY 40906). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
