He was predeceased by : his parents, Leroy Murray and Dorothy Peterson Murray; and his niece Rachel Hunt. He is survived by : his wife Janet Wells Murray; his children, Zachary Murray (Hilary), Raymond Murray (Magan), Aaron Murray (Kimberly) and Gayle Smith (Jameson); his grandchildren, Brennan Murray (Skylar), Jace Murray, Chandler Kisor, Hunter Fetty, Ellis Smith, Peter Smith, Bailey Moyers, Landon Moyers, Hayden Murray and Emmy Murray; his sister Linda Hunt (Tom); and his nephews, Jim and Jon.
