He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Coburn and Verna Mae Gillum Coburn; and his siblings, Lucy May Robinson, Mary Elizabeth Williams, Faye Powers, Donna Isaacs, Paul, Donald, Silas, Larry, Jim and Earvan Coburn.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma A. Coburn; his children, Cristina McDavid of Flatwoods, Karen Coburn (Jack) of Ashland, Susan Somon (Jason) of Greenup and Scott Coburn (Angie) of Florence, KY; his grandchildren, Craig McDavid, Kayla Whitley, Megan Dillow, Andrew Coburn, Jack Coburn, Grace Somon, Gabbie Somon, Dawson Somon and Zoe Somon; his great grandchildren, Benjamin, Elizabeth, Christopher, Arnold, Oliver, Logan and Willow; and his sisters, Jean Hensley (Ken) of Tennessee, Minnie Carter (Grant) of Grayson, Linda Tussey (Bobby) of Grayson and Karen Rogers (Eddie) of Ashland.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East (100 Veterans Mem Dr, Argillite, KY 41143).
