She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Bennett and Margaret Beatrice "Bea" Davis Bennett; her husband Fred E. Hixson; her son Gary Hixson; her great grandchild Kaitlynn Hixson; and her siblings, Donna Wilson, Shirley Bennett, Sam Bennett and Mont Bennett.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert Hixson (Kathy) of Columbus and Rick Hixson (Jackie) of Albany. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren.
