He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Trent Cornett and Louise Sparks Cornett; and his sister Sandy Ferrell. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Forbess Cornett; his daughters, Carla Mings (John) and Annie Thompson; his grandchildren, Lillie Thompson, Zachary Mings, Jacob Mings, Trycen Davis and Bailey Johnson; his great grandchild Sofiya Holcombe; his sister Alice Stanton; and his brothers-in-law, Bill Ferrell, Mike Forbess and Billy Forbess. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other close family and friends.
