Carol Watson Vinson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Watson Vinson of Flatwoods, Kentucky, who passed away on July 19, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Watson and Helen Bryan Watson; her sister Pat Watson-Hatcher; and her brother-in-law Shawn McCarty. She is survived by: her children, Gretchen Short (Ashley), Zachary Vinson (Julie), Tessa Pemberton (Rob) and Kaleb Vinson (Elizabeth); her grandchildren, Issac Vinson, Zoey Sanders (Ethan), Morgan Vinson, Ava Vinson, Kyran Pemberton and Kalvin Vinson; her sister Sharon McCarty; her brother-in-law Chuck Hatcher; and her niece Bonni Potter (Gary).
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Temple Baptist Church in the Fellowship Hall (124 Reid St, Flatwoods, KY 41139).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Temple Baptist Church and notate WMS (Women's Missionary Society) on the memo line. 124 Reid Street Flatwoods, KY 41139.
