He was predeceased by: his parents, Lish Lewis and Greta Castle Lewis; his wife Mary F. Lewis; and his siblings, Ike, Dewey, John Lewis, Dorothy Douglas, Elisabeth Garris and Della Scott.
He is survived by: his children, Ray Lewis (Juda) of Ashland, KY, Roy "Newton" Lewis (Trish) of Worthington, KY, Mary Catherine Smith (Steve) of Flatwoods, KY and Bendetta Lanham (Scott) of Flatwoods, KY. He is also survived by three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family.
