We are sad to announce that on September 20, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Gary McAllister of Flatwoods, Kentucky. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thurman McCallister and Catherine Wellman McCallister. He is survived by: his wife Rita McAllister; his children, Hollie Kouns (David), Stacy Carpenter (Chris) and Jason McAllister (Leah); his grandchildren, Nicholas Puckett, Levi Kouns, Joel Puckett, Mary Kate Puckett, Chloe Kouns, Tucker Kouns and Ethan McAllister; and his stepgrandchildren, Mallory Carpenter and Avery Carpenter. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Alzheimer's and Dementia research in Gary's honor.
