It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jim Brown of Flatwoods, Kentucky, born in Greenup, Kentucky, who passed away on September 4, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, William Albert Brown and Clara Halley Pruitt; his wife Tonna Lou Lambert Brown; his son Terry Lee Brown; his siblings, Carl Pruitt, George Pruitt and Juanita; and his former life partner Mary Bradley Crabtree.

He is survived by : his children, James A. Brown, Jr. (Kimberly) of Hillsboro, OH, Timothy K. Brown of Bluffton, OH, Shane Michael Brown and Debbie Brown Shepherd (Kirk) of Kenton, OH; his grandsons, Brandon Marshall, Dustin Marshall and James Nathan Brown; his great grandchildren, Ella Marshall, Dylan Marshall, Tucker Marshall, Kennadi Marshall, Levi Brown, Mason Brown, Abbi Brown and Colby Brown; and his great great grandchild Harley Brown. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
