He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Plybon and Opal Plybon; his wife Ruth Plybon; his daughter Carla Frederick; and his brothers, Harry Plybon, George Plybon, Gene Plybon, Fred Plybon, David Plybon and Jack Plybon.
He is survived by: his son Terry Plybon (Wilma) of Ashland; his siblings, Lewis Plybon (Mary) and Minnie Louise Spradling; his grandchildren, Elliot Frederick, Jeff Boggs and John Paul Boggs; and his great grandchildren, Katelyn Boggs and Lillian Boggs. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Carman Funeral Home (2301 Argillite Rd, Flatwoods, KY 41139). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
