He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul W. Layne and Myrtle Ramey Layne; and his sisters, Patty Yates and Michelle Watts. He is survived by: his daughters, Paula Queen of Flatwoods and Tammy Castle (Bobby) of Flatwoods, Kentucky; and his grandchildren, Dustin Castle (Niki), Aaron Castle (Sueann), Chantel Sparks, Sheena Gordon (Drew) and Joshua Ferguson. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
