She was predeceased by : her parents, Paul Fields and Goldie Rice Fields; and her sister Sue Helton. She is survived by : her sons, David Smith (Angie) of Westwood and Paul Smith of Cox's Creek; her grandchildren, Ryan Smith (Bethany) and Carissa Conkwright (Asa, III); her great grandchildren, Asa Conkwright, IV, Ella Wren Smith and Gracie Conkwright; her brother Charles Richard Fields; and her close friends, Sam Ipock and Sandy Fleming.
