He is survived by: his sons, Derrick Walter Simpson of Brooksville, Casey Simpson (Olivia Schaefer) of Highland Heights and Zachary (Natalie Simpson) of Flemingsburg; his grandchildren, Ashton Lee Beckett, Kendall Grace Hawkins, Elijah Joseph Patrick, Serenity Renee Simpson, Savannah Simpson, Alexis Dunn (Connor), Brooklyn Simpson, Joseph Simpson and Evelyn Simpson; and his great grandchildren, Violet Dunn and Joshua Dunn.
