He is survived by: his wife Shirley Williams Hurst; his children, Mark Hurst, Kenny Hurst (Becky), Jeffrey Hurst, Tracy Hester, Kim Hickerson (David) and Rebecca Porter; his grandchildren, Bernice Toy, Virgil Hurst (Courtney), Michael Hurst (Melanie), Misty Hurst, Kyle Hurst, Travis Hurst, Daniel Hurst, Samantha Conley, Matthew Hurst, Victoria Hester, Tyler Hickerson (Carley), Tessa McCord (Justin) and Emily Bishop; and his siblings, Homer Hurst, Sr. and Joyce McCann. He is also survived by several extended family members and friends.
