It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Fred Garrett of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, who passed away at the age of 82, on October 2, 2022. He was predeceased by : his parents, Willy Garrett and Esther Mason Garrett; his siblings, George Garrett, Billy Garrett, Edna Tetrick, Tom Garrett, Jim Garrett and Linda Rice; his stepdaughter Tracy Lynn Steele Hilterbrand; and his stepgrandson Charles Valley Smith.

He is survived by : his wife Theresa "Terry" Turley Garrett; his stepsons, Ronnie Steele and Mike Steele (Mindy); his adoptive daughter Elaine Evans; his siblings, Alice Cummins (Donald), Wendall Garrett and Connie Garrett; and his grandchildren, Ashta Stevens (Ricky), Cody Hester (Jordan), Jenna Barton (Hunter), Brittany Thompson (Larry), Samantha Lynch (Kyle), Hannah Steele (Levi), Emily Sanchez (Cesario), Jacob Gilbert, William Steele (Payton) and Blake Steele. He is also survived by his 20 great-grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
