Ida Hinton Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ida Hinton of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 11, 2025 at the age of 77. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ida Hinton to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nolan Lee Story and Hattie Miller Story; her husband Charlie; her son Michael Story; her granddaughters, Lindsey Kaye Calvert and Ashley Calvert; her siblings, Patti Bryant, Rose "Rosie" Lee Story, Lewis Wade and Jean Mattox; her friend Susie Jett; her pet Hank; and also Nolan.
She is survived by: her daughter Dee Dee Calvert (Bob); her grandchildren, Laken Masters (Scotty), Bryan Calvert and Ryan Calvert; her great grandchildren, Charlee Rose, Wilson Scott, Kayleigh, Paisley, Henslee, Lynnex, Laura and Cambre; her close friends, Garnett Hall, Martha Pollitt, Peggy Miller, Barry and Karen Hamm; her siblings, Judy Little and Joe Wade (Barb); and her aunt Bonnie Miller. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Boone-Nickell Funeral Home (150 W Water St, Flemingsburg, KY 41041). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
