It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kay Reed of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, who passed away on September 3, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harlan Davis Meadows and Laura Bruce Johnson Meadows; her siblings, Carl Willoughby Meadows, Bud Meadows, Alva Meadows, Sue McGlone and Glendora Meadows Hendrix Saunders; and the father of her children Ray Reed.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Ann Grannis (Kelly) and Sharon Dennison (Mike Bradford); her grandchildren, Kacee McKee, Chanz McKee, Sebastian Grannis (Abby Short) and James Finamore III (Tiffany); her great grandchildren, Paisleigh Darr, Piper Baker, Paul Finamore and Paxton Finamore; her close friend Frank Hunt; and her brother David Meadows. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many friends.
