Lou Ellen Johnson Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lou Ellen Johnson of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 31, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Holman Johnson Hurst and Beth Eula Basford Ramey; her husband Willie "Billy" D. Johnson; her stepfather Estill Ramey, Sr.; and her siblings, Charles K. Ramey, Estill Ramey, Jr., Lucien "Sam" Ramey and Dorothy Ramey.

She is survived by: her children, Joey Johnson (Kim) of LaGrange, Todd Johnson (Melina) of Hillsboro and Stephanie Denton (Willis) of Hillsboro; her grandchildren, Gary Johnson, Ben Johnson (Lauren), Dustin Johnson, Nicholas Johnson (Haley) and Lauren J. Fraser (Will); her great grandchildren, Ryan Hadley Johnson, Sarah Grey Johnson, Valentina Johnson and Henry Johnson; her sister Bertie Ann Ramey Cooper; and her siblings-in-law, Tom and Marge Johnson of Hobart, Indiana. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
