It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marlin J. Mitchell of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, born in Mason, Kentucky, who passed away on August 19, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph H. Jones and Anna Price Jones; her siblings, Jo Anne Jones, Harlan G. Jones and Marion A. Jones; and her nephew Joe Ray Jones, Jr..

She is survived by : her son Randall Scott Mitchell of Paintsville; her grandsons, Dylan Scott Mitchell of Carlisle and Logan Greer of Paintsville; her brother Moose Jones of Louisville; and her pet Snickers.
