He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Emerson Hester and Wilma Jean Doyle Hester; his wife Bonnie; his brothers, Gary Ray Hester and Robert Morris Hester; and his brother-in-law Steve Butcher.
He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Gulley (Kenney) of Mount Sterling and Brian Hester (Danielle) of Owingsville; his grandchildren, Ben Gulley of Fort Myers, Fla., Abigail Thompson (James) of Mount Sterling and Claire Gulley of Memphis, Tenn.; his stepgrandsons, Skyler Muse and Malachi Muse; his great grandchild Ronan Thompson; and his siblings, Dale Hester (Kim), Mary Butcher and Daryl Hester (Sherry). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Boone-Nickell Funeral Home (150 W Water St, Flemingsburg, KY 41041). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
