He is survived by: his wife Tracy Garrett; his son AJ Garrett; his grandson Kai Garrett; his mother Yvonne Garrett; his brothers, Michael Garrett Jr. and Robert Garrett (Michelle Johnson); his brothers-in-law, Tom Truitt (Meredith) and Tim Truitt (Amanda); his nieces and nephews, Katy, Olivia, Kylee, Shelby, Bryton, Paxton and Caden; his aunt Linda Austin; his mother-in-law Sally Truitt; and his foster children, Brayden and Madison.
