He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hearn and Lucille Lee Hearn; his children, Hope Melford and Mark Hearn; and his brothers, James Hearn, Jesse Hearn and Eddie Hearn.
He is survived by: his wife Bessie Hearn; his children, Barry Hearn (Holli) of Ohio, Darrell Hearn (Lesia) of Sparta and Anita Hearn of Florence; and his brother Charles (Charlotte) of Dry Ridge.
