It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Burl Helton of Florence, Kentucky, born in Greenup, Kentucky, who passed away on October 31, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Helton and Ella Helton; and his son-in-law Andy Aylor. He is survived by: his wife Mable Helton; his children, Cindy Gilland (Rick), Tony Helton (Joni) and Jenny Aylor; his grandchildren, Josh, Molly (Arrick), Katie, Ryle, Bryssa, Lauryn, Emily and Nick; his great grandchildren, Chandler, Zoe, Oliver, Graham, Bryson, Keegan, Kenzie, Brynlee, Jameson and Sadie Belle; and his friend Jennifer Fletcher. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
In loving memory of Burl, contributions may be made to Florence Baptist Temple Bus Ministry, without this service he would not have been able to attend church services when he lost the ability to drive.
