Christie left this world on August 5, 2025 at the age of 74, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Girdler and Beulah Girdler (Lawrence Mann); and her siblings, Charles Girdler, Paul Girdler, Imogene Lashinsky, Jeff Girdler and Diane Epperson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Benton (Billy), Gina Mains (Chris) and Tracy Schalk (Brian); her grandchildren, Christopher Mains, Jr., Alexis Kirkland, Sydney Benton, Noah Schalk, Mitchell Schalk, Brittany Benton and Amber Bingaman; and her sisters, Teresa Releford (Lee), Charlene Fletcher (Bill) and Linda Baker. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren, other family members and friends.
