He was predeceased by: his son Bill. He is survived by: his children, James (Donna) of Walton, Daniel (Jill) of Walton, Laura Wallace (Richard), Amy Lemker (Daniel), Kara Stone and Rachel Fisk (Scott). He is also survived by 22 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Passionist Nuns Monastery in Erlanger, Kentucky or to Doctors Without Borders.
