He was predeceased by: his parents, William Farrell and Jewell Farrell; his wife Barbara Farrell; his son Mike Thompson; and his siblings, Ernest Farrell, Jack Farrell, Freada Lykins, Cleta Lykins and Wanda Ashley.
He is survived by: his son Tim Farrell; and his daughter-in-law Sonja Thompson. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
