He was predeceased by: his parents, James Taylor and Mary Taylor; and his former wife Maxine Taylor. He is survived by: his daughters, Jill Taylor and Judy Taylor; his wife Patricia Taylor; and his stepchildren, Missy Ward (Shawn Ward), Scott Wilson (Dee Wilson), Jamie Hampton (Scott Hampton) and Joy Mullins. He is also survived by his six siblings, numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mary Rose Mission on Main Street in Florence, KY.
