He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Tina Reynolds (Blaine), Jimmy Parrott (Connie), Sharon Webster (Chris), Dawn Woods (Steven) and Tracy Ramírez (Marcos); his siblings, Gary Parrott and Judy Kay Kidwell; his parents, Henry Tilford "Shorty" Parrott and Elizabeth "Ann" Blackburn Parrott; his sister Betty Jo Fryler; and his great grandchild Lily Grace Treadway. He was also cherished by 10 great-grandchildren.
