He is survived by: his wife Laurie DeBell Adkins; his son Thomas Adkins (Sarah); his grandchildren, Olive Adkins, Lucy Adkins and Truett Adkins; and his sister Teresa Harris (Darrell). He is also survived by 3 nieces, 2 great-nieces, 2 great-nephews, 1 great-great-nephew and 1 great-great-niece as well as many wonderful friends and former coworkers.
