He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyrus Guthrie and Wilma Guthrie; and his siblings, Faye Lovelace and Thomas Guthrie. He is survived by: his wife Genny (Genny); his children, Timothy Guthrie (Anne), Vickie Corpuz (Arnel) and Angela Katt (Alan); his grandchildren, Bryan (Jane), Abigail Corpuz, Peter, Noah, Grace, Andrew and Ruth Guthrie; his stepgrandchildren, Nate Katt (Alisha), Emily Zoller (Andy), Evan Katt (Annie), Olivia Mounce (Greg) and Taylor Katt (Megan); and his brothers, Cyrus Vance Guthrie (Eva) and Steve Guthrie (Barbara). He is also survived by 13 step great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Memorials may be given to Burlington Baptist Church.
