We are sad to announce that, on February 20, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Jo Anne Gillespie of Florence, Kentucky, born in Williamstown, Kentucky. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Jo Anne Gillespie to show support.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Marcus Samuel and Ruth Elizabeth Dahling Leming; her brothers, Carl Allen Leming, John E. Leming and Sam Leming; and her great grandchildren, Maxim Ruth Tennyson and Joseph Bryan Iles.

She is survived by: her children, Ruth Anne Tennyson (Terry) of Inman, SC, Emily MacFarlane (Jim) of Florence, Mary Catherine Gillespie of Erlanger and John K. Gillespie of Erlanger; and her sister-in-law Mabel "Buzzy" Leming of Union. She is also survived by 10 Grandchildren; 16 Great Grandchildren; 1 Great Great Grandchild; and multiple nieces and nephews.

She was a member of the Kentucky Nursing Association and proudly volunteered with St. Elizabeth Hospice as well as the American Cancer Society.
