She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmond Young and Ernestine Flannery Young; her husband John Holtzapfel; her brother Rodney Young; and her grandson John Pennington.
She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Metzger (Edward), Rhonda Day (Bill) and Debbie Pennington; her grandchildren, Michelle Law, Larry Pennington, Patrick Day, Rainy Bolton, Lee Metzger, Eric Metzger and Kate Frizzell; and her sister Norma Butler. She is also survived by her 16 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-granddaughters.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph Church (7500 US-42, Florence, KY 41048). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Calvary Cemetery.
