We are sad to announce that on September 21, 2025, at the age of 95, Joe Louis Swango (Florence, Kentucky) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Swango and Ethel Brown Swango; his wife Thelma; and his brothers, Marvin and Harvey Swango.
He is survived by: his daughter Connie Swango-Holtmann (Steven); his granddaughters, Michelle Cox (Shawn) and Sarah Holtmann; and his great grandchildren, Damir Holtmann, Justice Holtmann, Tyler Cox, Ava Cox, Kayla Cox and Madeline Cox.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Stith Funeral Home (7500 U. S. Hwy 42, Florence, KY 41042). A masonic service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 12:45 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
