He is survived by: his wife Joann Young Holtzapfel; his daughters, Nancy Metzger (Ed), Rhonda Day (Bill) and Debbie Pennington; his brother Larry Holtzapfel; and his grandchildren, Michelle Law (Christian), Larry Pennington (Heather), Rainy Bolton (Steven), Patrick Day (Sara), Lee Metzger (Ashley), Eric Metzger (Morgan) and Katie Frizzell (Bobby). He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter.
