The family announces the passing of John O. Westlund (Florence, Kentucky) on September 20, 2026. John, born on December 21, 1935, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Westlund and Florena Westlund; his significant other Peggy Westlund; and his sister Alice Westlund. He is survived by: his children, Swedish, Allison Langford (Matt) and Todd Westlund; his grandchildren, Ezra Langford, Jane Langford, Alex Kramer (Gabe), Evan Westlund (Amber Gover) and Emma Westlund; his great grandchildren, Nora Kramer, Noah Kramer, Finnley Westlund and Ivy Westlund; and his sister Shirley Newman (late Gene). He is also survived by nieces, nephews & cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Grace Fellowship Church (9379 Gunpowder Rd, Florence, KY 41042). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
