He was predeceased by: his son Cash Carter Thompson; and his grandparents, William, Elsie Thompson, Luther and Marie Hughes.

He is survived by: his parents, Donald W. Thompson and Norma Hughes Thompson; the mother of his children Charnelle Jalensie Evans; his children, Deandre Thompson of Florence, Elijah Evans of Florence and Deanna Carol Thompson; and his brother Brian Thompson of Florence. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
