He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Harper and Pauline Harper; and his siblings, Harold Harper and Ruth Harper Heil. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Jean Harper (Reynolds); his children, Kevin Harper (Rachel), Stephanie Weakley, Todd Harper, David Harper and Jeff Harper (Heather); his grandchildren, Richard "Ditchard" Weakley, Stella "Songbird" Myers, Emily "Emmy Lou" Harper, Kamryn "Betty Crocker" Harper, Dalton "Chicken Head" Harper and Benjamin; and his brother Bobby Harper.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Stith Funeral Home (7500 U. S. Hwy 42, Florence, KY 41042). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Breakthrough T1D (formerly known as the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation), Lung Cancer Research Foundation or Matthew 25 Ministries.
