He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Calvin Hughes and Vera [Withrow] Hughes; his wife Betty [Young] Hughes; his children, Deborah Rankin (Veach), Vera Humphrey, Patricia Ryan (Donald) and Michael Hughes (Linda); and his brother Calvin "Lin" Hughes. He was also cherished by 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, many close relatives and friends.
