It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Brandenburg (Florence, Kentucky), born in Beattyville, Kentucky, who passed away on June 10, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Lincoln Todd and Lula Brandenburg Newman; his brother Jimmy Brandenburg; and his grandson Jeremy Fulmer. He is survived by: his children, Tina Haley, Bill Brandenburg, Doug Brandenburg and Roger Dale Smith; and his sisters, Willena Miller of Cincinnati, Josephine Hoerlin Harms of Florence, Geraldine Pearson of Florence and Laverna Kleinberg (Albert Kleinberg) of Burlington. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
