He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Reiland and Ruth Reiland. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Reiland; his daughters, Jane Clair (Ken), Ruth Merkle (Chris) and Rene Barnett; his grandchildren, Cherie Thomas (Brandon), Kelly Merkle, Ray Merkle, Polly "Charlie" Barnett and Bella Clair; his great grandchildren, Lilly Thomas and Bailey Wells; his brother Robert "Bob" Reiland (Cathy); and his pet Lulu.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 30th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Linnemann Funeral Home (30 Commonwealth Ave, Erlanger, KY 41018). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary of the Assumption Parish (8246 E Main St, Alexandria, KY 41001). A burial will be held on Monday, November 22nd 2027 at the St. Mary Cemetery – Alexandria (8246 E Main St, Alexandria, KY 41001).
