He was predeceased by: his mother Sharon Simpson; his sons, Tony and Cody Simpson; his siblings, Michael Simpson, Bobby Simpson and Mary Billingly; and his mother-in-law Betty Trimpe.
He is survived by: his father Joseph R. Simpson; his daughter Sarah; his wife Linda Simpson; his children, Chrissy Hernandez (Gary Baynum), Regina Pedrotti, Raymond Simpson (Tammy), Brian Dhonau, Shanna Dhonau, Jason Dhonau (Robin), Sara Brickner-Burns and Tara Lindner; his grandchildren, Olivia, Emily, James (Donna), Krista (Steve), Lindsey (Theo), Erica (Nathan), Sammy, Adam, Shane, Aiden, Kylee, Jayceb, Hailey, Henry, Bryn, Sophia, Michael, Josh, Christopher, Lacey, Morgan, Gabby and Dakota; his great grandchildren, Liam, Caiden and Maddie; his siblings, Joseph A. Simpson (Ramie), James A. Simpson, Steven L. Simpson, Paul Simpson (Jamie), Betty Kober (Barry), Rita Robben (Rick) and Lisa Rowe (Greg); his father-in-law Daniel Trimpe; his brothers-in-law, Bill and Dave Trimpe (Sherry); and his aunt Anna Lee Dennis. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Ray didn't believe in sending flowers because they just die so if you want to do something nice in memory of him memorials are requested to St. Vincent de Paul to help those in need.
