He was predeceased by: his wife Jonnie Sue Scott; his siblings, Sid Scott, Vernon Scott, Phyllis Rhodes and Robert Glen Scott; and his sisters-in-law, Sue Scott, JoAnn Scott and Ardith Scott.
He is survived by: his children, Randie Sue Gentry, Ricky Scott of Florence and Bambi Connley; his sister Mary Lou Fountain of Walton; his brother-in-law Randall Rhodes; and his friend Michael Mace. He is also survived by two grandchildren and one great grandchild.
