He is survived by: his wife Helen Huhn Slade; his children, Robert Slade (Christina) and Chalice Michael (Bubba); his granddaughter Summer Thompson; his great grandchild Hunter Day; his sister Judy Brady; his half-brother Dennis Jones; and his niece Liz Brady.
