He is survived by: his wife Linda Charles; his children, Eddie Charles (Libby), Michael Charles (Connie) and Crystal Sparks (Bobby Joe); his grandchildren, Aaron, Austin Charles, Raven Melson and Maddie Sparks; his siblings, Phillip Charles (Marcy), Ethel Mann and Mida Bolton (Butch); his brother-in-law Ricky Moore (Debbie); and his friend Jim Brown. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
