It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shawn Deatherage of Florence, Kentucky, born in Covington, Kentucky, who passed away on April 12, 2024, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his father William "Sonny" Deatherage. He is survived by : his mother Juanita Brown; his aunts, Maybelle Engle and Charlotte Brown; his cousins, Jeffery Engle, Amy, Natasha, Amanda, Joe, Glenda, Janet and Michelle; his siblings, William and Tanya; his nephew Cory; and his close friend Jackie Young.

A graveside service was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Wilmington Baptist Church Cemetery (15472 Madison Pike, Demossville, KY 41033).
