Barbara Baxter Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Baxter of Fort Mitchell, Kentucky, born in Covington, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 29, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Raoul Baxter; and her parents, Hershel Marcum and Mary Elizabeth Marcum. She is survived by: her children, Chris Baxter (Karra) of Hillsborough, NC and Teal Graeter (Spencer) of Louisville, KY; her brother Kent Marcum (Pam); her siblings-in-law, Rill Baxter (Ellie), Janica Johnson and Lark Baxter; her grandchildren, Jackson Graeter, Gracie Graeter, Wyatt Graeter, Clover Baxter and Rubee Baxter; and her sibling's children, Kelly Harper, Todd Johnson, Trinian Mitchell, Bonnie Kellogg, Trevor Baxter, Hunter Baxter and Lillie Baxter. She is also survived by cousins, great nieces and nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Lakeside Presbyterian Church (2690 Dixie Hwy, Lakeside Park, KY 41017). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Highland Cemetery (2167 Dixie Hwy, Fort Mitchell, KY 41017).
Memorial contributions are suggested to The National Kidney Foundation, a cause near to Barb's heart.
